Our annual "Derby Days" fund raising event will be taking place over the course of this week from 4/6-4/11. We will be raising money to donate to the Huntsman Cancer Institute over the course of the week through three different methods. On the evening of Friday 4/10, we'll be hosting a Trivia Tournament on campus, that will be open to all students. Entry fee is $15 and it will consist of teams of 3. We will also have tables set out all week long outside of Russell Sage Dining Hall (academic side of the foot bridge) where we'll be having sign-ups for the tournament as well as selling raffle tickets for some prizes that we'll be raffling off over the course of the week. Also at these tables, we'll be having a balloon popping contest. We're going to have a piece of plywood up with balloons fixed to it, and give each contestant 3 darts for $1, if he/she pops some number of balloons, they'll win a prize.

This year, we have three of the five sororities participating along with a team from Russell Sage College. The final day of Derby Days will be held on the afternoon of Saturday, 4/11. Also known as "The Derby", it will be a head to head competition amongst the teams: Alpha Phi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Omega Epsilon, and Russel Sage College. A winner will be announced and presented with their winnings. Last year was a terrific success and we hope to build upon that same success this year!
